Huntress Agent for macOS

2. Install the Agent

Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Provide your key information when prompted.

Huntress recommends leaving the Include System Extension checked for the installation to be successful.

3. Allow the System Extension

By default, macOS blocks the attempt to install the System Extension, showing a System Extension Blocked notification.

Select Open System Settings and go to Privacy & Security. Find the Login Items & Extension section. Click Allow to let Huntress load.

4. Allow the Network Content Filter

After allowing the System Extension, a prompt tells you that Huntress would like to filter network content. Click Allow to let Huntress install the Network Content Filter.

5. Allow Full Disk Access

Enable Full Disk Access for Huntress in the System Settings from the Privacy & Security tab. This is critical for Huntress to provide full protection.
